Capricci Romani - Rome

Even if Capricci Romani is a b & b you can find services like a 5 star hotel. The room had all comfort (a / c, wi / fi free, private bathroom inside), and we found also some very useful extras (maps, Rome guide books, books, magazines, free internet point for guest without a pc). At the end, but not less important, the breakfast is served, officially, from 08:00 to 10:00, but Max and Irene are proud to serve it after that time (not found in 5star hotel!). Beds comfortable, rooms clean and spacious. A great discovery in Rome. Highly recommended

Amazing, you don't need to think twice bout booking here. We had a fantastic time. The staff and owner are great, they provide you all the information you need, detailed directions to the BnB by email, a map of the city with comments re where to go etc. The owner also booked us further accommodation in a nearby hotel (they were full unsurprisingly) and negotiated with them re price on our behalf. For a continental breakfast, what they provide is quite good, espresso coffee croissants, juice, yohgurt.

It is in good location and staff is helpful

Massimo, who runs the hotel, is such a nice and friendly person. He offered very useful tips on our visit plans, also makes the hotel like a family to us. The hotel is very clean, and very good location. We really enjoyed it. Would recommend friends who are going to Roma to stay there.

massimo is very accomodating. he told me about the nice places to see and where to go. and he knows how to speak english so it's not very difficult to communicate to him. the location is just walking distance to vatican and it's nearer to ottaviano metro station. i would like to stay here again when i come back...

As many have said, massimo was a perfect host. Location was excellent, we could walk all over the city and return to our quiet, clean oasis. I'd stay there again if I return to Rome.

The host (Massimo) is extremely friendly and helpful. He really went out of his way to make our visit to the B&B and to Rome to be an exceptional one. We loved the service here and highly recommend Capricci Romani Bed and Breakfast to our friends and fellow travellers.

Perfect location! walking distance from all main attractions. The owner was welcoming and contacted me after booking to offer transport from airport. Will definately stay there again!!

Small shower

This the first time we stay in a b&b and we travel quite a bit staying in hotels. Massimo has changed that trend as his b&b is one we would stay again without hesitation. I did confirm all previous reviews which highly recommend the place. It is well located just a couple of blocks to the St. Peter Cathedral & the Vatican. It is also walking distance to the metro station. It is clean, comfortable and best of all Massimo personal attention to us and the guests in general is worth commenting. He provided good advice on where to tour and how to manage time more effectively which in all respect went way beyond the line of call. Breakfast is prepared on a timely basis every day and it is adequate. This is the closest you can get in staying with family.

The location is excelent, you can get by walk to almost every place, and it has also a very, very easy connection by bus with Fiumicino. Massimo, the owner, is really kind and try to help you in everything you can need, for example, he offered us to prepare the breakfast for take away. The b&b is not a charming hotel, but is very clean and confortable.

The breakfast is abundant but is not varied at all: every day is the same, and does not include fruit ot yogourth. Also, it starts at 8 A.M. and it can be too late, particulary in summer, if you want to visit the city before the temperature rises and every place is full.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the Vatican but also within a short walk of many of Rome's biggest attractions. Massimo is the consummate host! He made us a wonderful breakfast, speaks excellent English and, as a native Roman knows the city inside and out. He gave us invaluable information to help us avoid lines, backtracking and extra walking. He pointed out good places to eat, away from the crowds of tourists among the regular citizens, and helped us with parking advice, saving us about 50 Euros. He went above and beyond in helping us enjoy our visit, and I can't say enough about him. The facility itself is well maintained, comfortable and clean, with excellent mattresses, a modern bathroom and COLD air conditioning- trust me it is extremely welcome after a hot day among the ruins! The location is a mainly business district, so it's quiet at night. We stayed in the family suite, with a big double and two twin beds and will stay there again any time we go to Rome.

Capricci is all about one word - heart. The owner Massimo is a wonderful host for anyone staying in Rome - whether it is attention to detail in the cleanliness of the rooms, knowledge of the city and what to see, arranging taxis or restaurants - Massimo is wonderful!! This place has rooms bigger than the 4 star hotel we stayed in for the beginning of our trip with beautiful decor, wifi and a free breakfast - what more can you ask for?
